Drop & give me 20

Has to be the track suit: The bulk of network TV shows start their seasons this week, and along with a look at tonight’s premieres, we’ve got a look at 10 of the toughest women on TV, which include an assassin, spies, government agents, a superhero, a surfer who doubles as a federal agent and a cheerleading coach.

Who’s toughest of the 10? Based purely on past personal (read “high school”) experience, we’d give the widest berth to the coach.

Pandering to the liberals: An American-born panda, Hua Mei, gave birth to her eighth cub at a research facility in southwest China on Friday.

The Chinese Tea Party immediately criticized the research facility for allowing yet another “anchor panda cub” to be born to an illegal immigrant.

It pays to read children’s literature: Police in Penang state, Malaysia, arrested a burglar who broke into a house to steal watches and jewelry but then nodded off on a couch in the home.

The burglar’s mistake was in eating right before he went to sit down for a minute; that porridge puts you right to sleep.
