Just what was wrong with “Goodnight, Moon”? Infestations of bedbugs are increasing across the country, and there have been reports of the blood-sucking parasites in Snohomish County. County health officials say they’re concerned but don’t see the insects as a threat to public health.
Thousands of children, however, beg to differ after several sleepless nights that followed Mom and Dad tucking them in with “Sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite.”

When in Rome: A study by researchers at the University of Washington found increased drinking of alcohol among U.S. students who studied abroad, particularly those studying in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The researchers said they would get around to asking why students abroad were drinking more as soon as they find the notebook they left in the pub.
