Prep volleyball: Archbishop Murphy 3, Lakewood 2

MARYSVILLE — Despite Hayley Liebel’s 22 kills, Archbishop Murphy held on for a Cascade Conference win over Lakewood win via scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 21-25 and 15-12. Rachel Peterson had 15 kills and three aces and Hannah Kegley added 15 kills and three blocks for the Wildcats (11-2 league, 11-2 overall). Brittany Parmentier added 10 kills and Samantha Adams had 41 assists to help carry Lakewood (9-4, 9-4).
