Former President Bill Clinton arrived Friday in the scenic upstate New York village where daughter Chelsea will marry her longtime boyfriend today.
The ever-gregarious Clinton immediately plunged into his favorite activity: working a rope line thronged with admirers. Well aware of the former president’s practice of never leaving an event until the last palm is pressed, aides planned to lure him to the rehearsal dinner with strategically placed chocolate-covered doughnuts.
Wine and woofs: An upcoming wine tour in Eastern Washington includes visits at eight wineries and their resident dogs.
The dogs’ presence could be a strategic move on the part of the wineries, as any “wet dog” aromas from corked bottles can be blamed on the pooches.
