This week’s featured new construction is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath two-story in the Sunburst Place development near Frontier Village and Lake Stevens.

The home has 1,791 square-feet of living space, views of Lake Stevens and the Cascade Mountains, and an attached two-car garage in the back — accessed via a private drive.

Exterior amenities include cement-based horizontal lap siding, architectural composition roof, extended covered front porch with exposed aggregate base, and a cedar-fenced back yard.

Entrance to the home is through a front door with leaded glass. Eighteen-inch custom ceramic tile covers the floor and extends into the nearby powder room, which is completed with a pedestal sink and a coved ceiling.

To the immediate left is a formal dining room with a coffered ceiling with crown molding, a wood-wrapped window facing the front, radius corners and plush carpeting.

The main living floor is completed by a kitchen, living room and access to the completely finished garage.

Kitchen appointments include solid wood paneled cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves, granite tile countertops and backsplash, breakfast bar, pantry cupboard, stainless steel appliances, and a laundry closet that includes built-in overhead cabinets.

Steps away, the oversized living room has a gas fireplace trimmed with a ceramic tile hearth and border.

An entertainment alcove is located above, and the fireplace is flanked by square-shaped privacy

windows. A sliding-glass door opens to a covered composite deck that overlooks a private back yard.

A staircase ascends to the home’s upper level, which includes three bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a bedroom suite with two wardrobe closets and a five-piece bathroom.

All three bedrooms are completed in similar fashion, with paneled sliders enclosing a standard closet, and a white-gridded window with wood sill. One bedroom has a lake view.

The full bathroom has a single vanity topped with ceramic tile, matching tile flooring, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

The bedroom suite’s bathroom has a double vanity topped with ceramic tile and a backsplash with tile accents, tile flooring, soaker tub with tile border, and a walk-in shower with fiberglass shell.
