How to get the kids to help

It’s a chore
As unlikely as it sometimes seems, you can get your kids to help out around the house.
Experts say kids do household jobs best if parents patiently break down the task step-by-step, and call it a “family contribution” instead of a chore.
An alternate method was employed by The Buzz Sr., and it went something like this: “What are you doing? Turn that (gosh-darn) TV off! Grab a broom and sweep the garage. Make yourself useful.”
It worked.
The funny race: Workers in France have backed away from a threat to blow up the auto parts factory where they’re employed unless they each get an additional $42,000.
They’re holding fast, however, to demands for a 24-hour work week, 12 weeks of paid vacation and a weekly allowance of two cartons of Gauloises.
Blitz him: Former NFL star Michael Vick on Monday completed his 23-month sentence for bankrolling a dogfighting ring, and now wants to convince the NFL that he deserves another shot at playing.
We say Vick should get his second chance — provided he wears no helmet, padding or protective gear of any kind, and his offensive line is prohibited from blocking for him.
