Cage fighters to duke it out in Everett

With names like “The Barbarian,” “Skindog” and “El Matador,” you know there’s going to be a rumble in Everett.

Professional cage fighters will roll into Comcast Arena at Everett with winning on their minds and no amount of knee jabs and knockouts are going to stop them.

Mixed martial arts powerhouse King of the Cage lined up a list of warrior battles for the upcoming “Thunderstruck” event that includes Tim “The Barbarian” Boetsch vs. Aaron Stark; Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson vs. Frank “El Matador” Mendez; and Tyson Nam vs. Zack “Skindog” Skinner.

“Mighty Mouse” is considered one of the toughest 135-pound fighters in the Pacific Northwest and currently holds the Bantamweight champion title.

Both he and Caros Fodor are Genesis Fights’ amateur champions.

Julia “The Jewel” Budd’s opponent will be named later. Since she beat MMA superstar Gina Carano, event promoters are having a hard time convincing anyone to get in the cage with her.
