I, Goalie

This week’s Super Kid is 14-year-old Adrian Davila, who attends Cavelero Mid High School in Everett. Adrian is interested in science and is a member of the school’s robot club. He’s currently programming a robot to stop hockey pucks.

We checked the WHL rule book and could find nothing that would prevent the Everett Silvertips from putting skates on Adrian’s robot and starting him at goalie.

Don’t know much about history: Some selected highlights from this day in history.

In 2008, Dmitry Medvedev won Russia’s presidential election to succeed Vladimir Putin. World leaders put marbles in their mouths during state visits so they could properly pronounce his name.
