The struggle goes on

According to our motivational calendar, it’s not the triumph that counts, but the struggle. We prefer to limit our struggles to the difficult task of opening bags of Cheetos, but others are not so lucky:
The Seahawks are struggling against adversity. Hampered by injuries just one game into the regular season, the team is already looking forward to its first bye in Week 4. The Hawks are clearly the victims of bad luck, which is bound to happen when your stadium is that close to the aura of mediocrity emanating from Safeco Field.
An Oregon man struggled with a 6-foot-long lizard. With some help, he was able to catch the huge creature that wandered into his yard and wrestle it into a cage. His next surprise will be when Seahawks representatives show up at his door to ask if he’s considered a career on the defensive line.
Microsoft is struggling against Google. But it may get a boost from tech columnist Walter Mossberg. He says the new version of Internet Explorer tops some features of Google’s browser, Chrome, which needs more polishing. Obviously Google has overlooked a few things, because the browser still lets you go to Microsoft sites.
