MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Mountlake Terrace pitcher Kori Seidlitz didn’t go easy on the Mariner hitters Tuesday at Mountlake Terrace High School — she struck out the first 10 batters, and finished the day without giving up a hit and notching 17 strikeouts with just two walks.
“It was probably one of her stronger outings of the year,” Mountlake Terrace coach Kim Stewart said.
In her past three starts Seidlitz has given up just five hits and two runs. Her ERA for the season is less than .50.
Kayla Watson was 2-for-3 with two runs for Mountlake Terrace. Teammates Chelsea Crews and Stephanie McLauchlan both had an RBI.
