ARLINGTON — Through six games, Snohomish has proved that it is in fact a team to beat in the Wesco North.
And it took the Panthers way less time than that to prove themselves against Arlington on Wednesday.
Snohomish scored four runs in the first inning en route a 15-1, run-rule-shortened victory at Arlington High School to improve to 6-0 in the league. The Panthers committed three errors, but made up for defensive deficiencies with 19 hits.
Derek Jones led the way at the plate for Snohomish by going 3-for-4 with a double and a home run.
Brian Wolfe picked up the victory for Snohomish, allowing just one run through four innings. He also belted a double.
