What will Apple think of next? There’s no telling, but analysts love to guess. Whatever it is, you can be sure it’ll be another way to make the world one giant iPod accessory.
One analyst thinks Apple might develop clock radios that pipe in music from your iTunes collection. But Apple likes to think bolder than that. Some guesses:
iLove: A matchmaking service that hooks you up based on your music purchases. If you love Death Cab, find someone just as cool as you. And if you don’t, find someone who’s just as big a dork.
iHeart: A pacemaker that both keeps you alive and chooses songs based on how fast your heart is beating. It’ll play your Feist tunes when you’re kicking back and Pearl Jam when you’re working out. And when your heart really starts racing, maybe a little Barry White.
iFly: A battery-powered hovercraft that blares your music as you zip around. Just don’t hover too high. These are Apple batteries we’re talking about.
brought in big crowds over the weekend.
If you’re stuck waiting in line when Indy sells out, don’t despair. “Speed Racer” is still playing, and there are plenty of good seats available for that. Just be sure to take your anti-nausea medication.
