This week’s feature is a 4-bedroom, 2 3/4-bath, 2-story at Barcelona near Bothell.
The “Palma” features Craftsman-style architecture set in tree-laden hillsides minutes from I-405 and Canyon Park shopping and dining.
There’s city sewer and water, and the house has a natural gas forced-air furnace and 50-gallon water heater. Cabling and satellite pre-wiring using the On-Q system are included. The main floor includes a foyer, living and dining rooms, kitchen with nook, family room, office, three-quarter bath and a tandem, three-car garage.
A switchback staircase leads to a master suite, three additional bedrooms, full bath, laundry room and bonus room.
The main floor has birch planking, nine-foot ceilings and wood-wrapped windows.
Open to the second level, the living room has upper and lowel-level windows along with two small square windows. Twin tapered columns on pedestals create a decorative entrance to the dining room, which has a coffered ceiling and chandelier.
The kitchen has a two-tiered center island with angular breakfast bar topped with granite, alder cabinets, pantry closet, and stainless-steel appliances.
Sliding glass doors open from the nook to a backyard patio.
The family room has a gas, log-burning fireplace trimmed with a ceramic-tile hearth.
The office has double bi-fold doors enclosing a closet, so the room can be converted to a downstairs bedroom. The powder room includes a walk-in shower.
A skylight brightens the passage upstairs to the master suite, which includes a five-piece bathroom, closet and walk-in wardrobe with plenty of shelves.
The master bath has a double vanity, private toilet and a freestanding shower.
The other three bedrooms include standard closets, phone-cable jacks and frosted-fluted light fixtures.
A versatile bonus room has a large window and three, square-shaped privacy windows. Just outside the door, an arched opening with wrought-iron railing overlooks the foyer and dining room below.
