Fire foundation needs donations for garage sale
The Edmonds Fire Safety Foundation is asking the public to begin collecting donations for the organization’s sixth annual garage sale July 27 and 28. The event, a benefit for the Edmonds Fire Department, again will be held at 520 Forsyth Lane in Edmonds.
Persons with items to donate may call Greg Jorgenson at 425-772-8115 or e-mail Mark Foote at jefe12@comcast.net to arrange for delivery or pick-up. Housewares, books, tools and collectibles in good condition are needed; no large furniture or appliances, computers, TVs or clothing can be accepted.
Armadillo Storage has donated free storage of items until the garage-sale weekend.
Funds raised at the annual sale go toward the purchase of equipment for the Edmonds Fire Department. Last summer the foundation contributed more than $14,000 toward the new Edmonds public-safety boat.
