Cougs Bowl-Bound?

ESPN.com published its bowl game predictions today and most interesting was its belief that Washington State will be playing in the postseason.

The web site predicted that the Cougars would be the Pac-10’s fifth-place team and would meet Maryland in the Emerald Bowl. It’s a pretty gutsy prediction considering all the injuries WSU has already suffered, particularly on defense.

Other predictions included Arizona State to play Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl; Oregon State to play Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl; Cal to play Texas Tech in the Holiday Bowl; Oregon to meet Rutgers in the Sun Bowl; and USC to play West Virginia in the Rose Bowl.
