SULTAN — Coming in as the No. 2 seed from the Cascade Conference, Sultan defeated Mount Baker, the Northwest Conference No. 3 seed, to advance in the 1A District 1 tournament. Taylor Gobel netted two goals for the Turks, who will face Meridian next on October 28.
