Once each year Pilchuck Glass School opens the gates of its private campus to offer a special look-see at one of the Pacific Northwest’s mecca for glass art.
The open house will be noon to 5 p.m. July 16 at the school’s campus near Stanwood at 1201 316th St. NW. The cost is $20 for adults; children 12 and under are admitted free.
Visitors may explore the school’s extensive studio facilities, take docent-led tours, watch special demonstrations by international glass masters, attend an artist slide talk, meet and speak with artists about their works in progress, view artwork in the school’s gallery, and enjoy the beauty of Pilchuck’s 54-acre forested campus located in the Cascade foothills.
