Big business rips us off with impunity

What a waste!
I’ve got to ask, isn’t anyone else in this country completely fed up with the misuse, misappropriation and downright theft of our taxpayer dollars by big business and the government doing nothing to correct it?
It seems like every night on the local and national news there is a report that another million or billion has been lost, misused or stolen and the Congress, judicial and/or the executive branch do nothing to get it back and/or punish the guilty party.
Wednesday night it was reported that big business has gotten millions, if not billions, of our taxpayer dollars that were supposed to be for small business. Does anyone do anything about it? No. I don’t like my tax dollars going to big business when our streets, our schools, our court system, our police departments and our libraries have been cut back, and other important public services have been eliminated.
When it was reported that average people had taken advantage of the services available during and after Hurricane Katrina, Congress reacted by curtailing payments, changing rules, taking people to court. But when the big boys do it, everyone just seems to look the other way. I, for one, will be voting for anyone who isn’t an incumbent in the next election. I don’t care if it is a Democrat, Republican, or Independent. Anything has got to be better that what we have now.
