Defending the Big Brother mentality

Gov. Christine Gregoire wants us to show photo identification to buy cold medicine but not necessarily to vote. This sounds reasonable to her fellow police state supporters such as Snohomish County Sheriff Rick Bart, who states: “Big Brother will be watching when I have a headache, but that’s what we’ve come to,” (April 28 news article “Bill to fight meth stirs privacy worries”).

When this man runs for county executive we need to remember that he accepts Big Brother because he is Big Brother.
