Too little, too late and too many taxes

This token train to Seattle – one trip in the morning, one trip in the afternoon – only provides transportation for the 9 to 5 worker.

This train should run from Bellingham to Olympia to relieve the morning traffic problems. This way not only would Boeing benefit, so would all manufacturing and shipyards by having an early train for the majority of the working people.

To tax us all these years for the train system and to not have built more stations is a joke. If the train ran from Bellingham to Everett, wouldn’t this take a lot of cars off the freeway just for the Boeing plant alone?

Also, an early train from the south could reduce a lot of cars on the freeway. With all the years of planning, why couldn’t they have made more arrangements to service the whole western part of the state? I’d say the planning department did not do anything except rape the people who paid the taxes for the rail and are getting very little in return.
