The real world is a dangerous place

The overwhelming majority of the anti-war demonstrators/protesters marching down the streets of our cities are high school and college students. They are skipping or walking out of classrooms across the country to participate in and against the United States of America’s policy of the coming war on Iraq’s dictator.

They have absolutely no knowledge of the history of the 20th century sacrifices that made this country great and strong, and what it is today – the sacrifices made by this country during the 20th century to rid Europe of its dictators. They are too young and naive to understand what real sacrifice and suffering is.

They are a product of a bankrupt education system that only teaches them to be in touch with their own personal feelings. They are the generation of wanting it all now, instant gratification. Well, I have news for you, the real world doesn’t work that way, and the world is a dangerous place!

We now live in a world threatened by an enemy that knows no borders, has no Geneva Convention regarding the rules of war, and would unleash mass destruction on all of America, the very country you hate and despise.

As you march, the suffering of the people of Iraq under a dictator continues. As you march, your signs, banners and chants say nothing at all about that. It’s all against your own country.

So, as you march, may the shame of humanity be upon you all as you continue to offer aid and comfort to the dictator of Iraq and to all the enemies of America.
