Sharing story helps us all understand

My husband I want to thank The Herald and its writers for the fine article of Dec. 2 honoring the area’s survivors of Pearl Harbor.

It is encouraging to focus on what is at the root and heart of our country. My father served in the Navy during World War II – he’s not here today, but would have felt proud to read your article. Please continue to share with us the things that draw us to a higher calling.
