PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County sheriff’s office says a 46-year-old Seattle man is reported in critical condition at a Bremerton hospital after he was stabbed multiple times in the back at an Olympia Peninsula resort.
Chief Criminal Deputy Joe Nole did not identify the victim Monday.
Nole said a 21-year-old Port Angeles man has been arrested for investigation of assault in Friday’s attack at a Discovery Bay resort. That man was identified as Donovan Smart.
The Peninsula Daily News reported that Nole said the victim had been staying at a condo with two Seattle acquaintances when the three men met Smart at a Port Angeles bar and invited him back to the condo.
