MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Mountlake Terrace’s Madison Eich recorded 22 kills and 17 digs, but the Ferndale Golden Eagles shocked the top-seeded Hawks in a 3A district semifinal match and earn a state tournament berth. Justine Kelly added 50 assists for Mountlake Terrace. The Hawks will play Meadowdale in a loser-out contest on Saturday at Glacier Peak H.S.
