A good day to sunbathe — if you’re a seal

Luke Stewart and his in-laws’ dog, Trudy, check out the juvenile harbor seal resting near driftwood on the beach south of the lighthouse and ferry dock in Mukilteo on Thursday afternoon. Stewart is in town visiting his in-laws from Denver and happened upon the seal. The Seal Sitters placed yellow caution tape around the seal to keep people from getting too close.
