EVERETT — Freshman Katie Barrett doubled at the plate and surrendered just three runs in seven innings on the mound as Marysville Pilchuck defeated Lynnwood Tuesday in the District 1 3A Softball Tournament.

Chloe Morgan doubled for the Tomahawks. Dasia Lester doubled for Lynnwood in the loss.
