Tonight brings us a game that many WHL followers have been anticipating since early in the season. Though the Everett Silvertips have struggled of late and slipped to second in the U.S. Division, they remain one of favorites to make a long postseason run.
Per the Regina Leader-Post, the @WHLPats expect a stiff test from the @WHLsilvertips tonight in key @TheWHL clash: https://t.co/cxsderr8qi

The Regina Pats were among the preseason favorites to win the WHL and have done little to dissuade that notion. The Pats are ranked first in the CHL poll and lead the overall WHL standings while boasting the league’s top offense. Tonight is a contrast in styles as Everett brings its defensive mindset to Regina’s high-flying offensive attack.
There is one more item of significance as the Tips will see their former captain Dawson Leedahl for the only time this season. Leedahl was traded to the Pats last summer and is Regina’s third-leading point scorer as an overage forward.
