PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Carson Tuttle, jr., G, Kamiak
COACH OF THE YEAR
Zach Ward, Stanwood
Ward guided the Spartans a 24-4 record, the Wesco 3A title and a fourth-place trophy in the 3A state tournament — the highest state finish in program history.
FIRST TEAM
Drew Bryson, sr., G, Arlington
Bryson averaged 22.9 points per game and scored at least 30 points six times, including a season-high 38 against Sehome. He also averaged 5.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
Colby Kyle, jr., F, Monroe
Kyle averaged 16 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks per game while helping the Bearcats come within one win of the 4A state regionals.
AJ Martinka, sr., G, Stanwood
Martinka averaged 15.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.3 steals per game. He helped lead the Spartans to a 24-4 record, the Wesco 3A title and a fourth-place finish in the 3A state tournament.
Malcolm Rosier-Butler, sr., G, Shorecrest
Rosier-Butler averaged 18 points, four assists and four rebounds per game. He helped lead the Scots to a 22-3 record, the 3A District 1 title and a spot in the Tacoma Dome for the state tournament.
Carson Tuttle, jr., G, Kamiak
Tuttle averaged 22.5 points per game and scored at least 30 points four times, tying a school record with 35 points in a win over Monroe. He also averaged 5.9 assists and four rebounds per game while leading the Knights to the 4A state regionals.
SECOND TEAM
RaeQuan Battle, soph., G, Marysville Pilchuck
Battle averaged 20.9 points per game and scored at least 30 points three times, including a season-high 34 in a win over Ferndale. He also averaged 8.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
Bobby Martin, jr., G/F, Glacier Peak
Martin averaged 17.3 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game while shooting 41 percent from 3-point range. He scored a school-record 35 points against Jackson and led the Grizzlies to a 19-5 record, Wesco 4A and District 1 titles and the program’s first Tacoma Dome appearance since 2011.
Keaton McKay, sr., G, Edmonds-Woodway
McKay averaged 18.7 points, three rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals per game. He led the Warriors to an 18-6 record and a spot in the 3A state regionals.
Phillip Pepple, jr., C, Shorecrest
Pepple averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per game. He helped lead the Scots to a 22-3 record, the 3A District 1 title and a spot in the Tacoma Dome for the state tournament.
Chase Strieby, sr., P, Stanwood
Strieby averaged 14 points and four rebounds per game while helping lead the Spartans to a 24-4 record, the Wesco 3A title and a fourth-place finish in the 3A state tournament.
