Problems reflect Reardon’s values

It was disappointing, but not surprising, to read that The Herald Editorial Board has endorsed Aaron Reardon for county executive.

I have had two occasions to meet and talk to Mike Hope and have been impressed with his work in the Legislature as well as in the police department. He has a refreshing vision and plan for the county, especially his ideas to bring business and jobs here.

The ethics problems, criminal behavior charges, and legal costs arising during the Reardon administration have been stunning and certainly reflect on the standards set by this executive.

We have a wonderful opportunity to change direction and elect someone we can trust — Mike Hope!
