We’re going to need a bigger fish tank: A 4-foot-7 great white shark caught off Southern California has been put on display at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and can be viewed in person or on a webcam.
Although by the time you read this, it may be the only thing left in the aquarium.

Please don’t feed the bears: A Juneau, Alaska, woman saved her dachshund from the jaws of a black bear by punching the bear in the snout and scooping up her dog when it let go.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium phoned the woman and offered her a job as a shark trainer.

Discontented cow: A dairy cow that escaped from a Bavarian farm, and then successfully hid in nearby forests for three months, has turned herself in. She was found at a farm grazing with four calves. Authorities considered her a danger because she nearly caused a collision with a police car.
Lucky cow. Had the police car hit her, she could have ended up in the shark tank, too.
