Prep boys soccer: Snohomish 2, Mount Vernon 1 (OT)

SNOHOMISH — Snohomish capitialzed on an own goal by Mount Vernon and a penalty kick in the 98th minute of overtime to beat Mount Vernon and advance to the championship game of the 4A District Tournament.

Blake Crutchfield scored the penalty kick after teammate Noah Rasmussen was fouled in the box.

Justin Morrison scored on a penalty kick for Mount Vernon.

The Panthers play Kamiak Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Goddard Stadium in Everett.
