Everett’s popular Street Tunes program returns today, with 10 pianos rolled onto downtown sidewalks for your playing and listening pleasure.
It’s a cool program, but The Buzz does request one modification: fines and possible jail time for anyone who plays “Heart and Soul” or “Chopsticks.”
Ticky-tack: Add-on fees for checking baggage, changing reservations and other everyday activities associated with air travel generated more than $21 billion for major airlines in 2010, a study finds.
It’s just like being nickeled and dimed, except the nickels are $50 bills and the dimes are C-notes.
Dreamy: Jobs columnist Eve Nicholas addresses what to do if you’re faced with the following scenario: You’ve got a good job with a good company that’s not tanking, your boss and co-workers don’t get on your nerves, and you’re weighing an intriguing job offer from another company.
That’s easy to answer: Don’t pinch yourself. You’ll wake up.
