It would help if it held actual money

I would like to know how long Social Security would be solvent if the lockbox held money instead of useless IOUs that have been put in the lockbox for decades.

My 15-year-old son has a goal to buy Ping golf clubs. He has done a better job than the government with his lockbox, and will realize his goal soon.
