6-year-old girl shot in Yakima

YAKIMA — A 6-year-old Yakima girl is at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being shot.

Yakima Police told KNDO-TV that a car drove up to a Yakima home, around 10 p.m. Wednesday. Children and adults were in the front yard when someone inside the car started shooting and the girl was hit.

She was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Harborview.
