Time to hit the treadmill, Washington: Washington state was recently ranked as the 28th most obese state in the nation with 26.4 percent of adults considered seriously overweight, up from its 32nd-place ranking in 1995.
Which explains why the state has been sucking in the Cascade Range and holding its breath any time California or Florida walks by.
