A KISS is still a KISS: KISS, the iconic band of icons from the ’70s, famous for its face paint, pyrotechnics and platform shoes performs tonight at Comcast Arena in Everett.

If you want to dress for the show, here’s what you’ll need:

• Grease paint: black, white and a primary color of your choosing. Stage blood is optional.

• Shoes with a least a 5-inch platform sole.

• Absolutely no inhibitions.

• Access to Lady Gaga’s wardrobe.

• And, if you’re dressing like Gene “The Demon” Simmons, a cow tongue.

Duh, gaining: A comprehensive study of obesity by Harvard University found that what and how much we eat has a lot to do with whether we gain wait. Potato chips offer a good example of a tasty, fattening food that makes it hard to control portion size.

Concerned for Americans’ health, snack food manufacturers have proposed new packaging. Chips will now be individually sealed in difficult-to-open plastic blister packs.

That ’70s Plane: Japan’s All Nippon Airways unveiled its interior and exterior design for its 787s at the Paris Air Show.

ANA has been waiting so long for the first 787 to be delivered, it has changed its original design concept, which included an avocado green exterior and a cabin with harvest gold shag carpeting.
