Anderson, Iverson to be inducted into wrestling Hall of Fame

Two coaches from Snohomish County are among the 10 men scheduled to be inducted into the Washington State Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame on June 11.

The ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Everett.

Among those being honored are former Lake Stevens High School coach Steve Anderson and former Marysville-Pilchuck coach Rick Iverson.

The other inductees are:

Ramon Barnes, coach, Puyallup High School

Robert Bennedsen, athlete, Vashon High School

John Birbeck, coach, Timberline High School

Richard Graham, coach, Elma High School

Rolland Holterman, coach, Mount Baker High School

Gary Knutzen, official, Whatcom-Skagit Wrestling Officials Association

Darren Sipe, coach, Newport High School, University of Washington

George Yonlick, coach, Bellingham High School
