Prep baseball: Snohomish 19, Marysville-Pilchuck 7 (6 innings)

MARYSVILLE — Behind a powerful offense and a 13-run fifth inning, Snohomish defeated Marysville-Pilchuck 19-7 in a Wesco North matchup between second and third place teams.

The Panthers compiled 17 total hits, including four doubles and four home runs.

Snohomish sent 18 batters to the plate in the fifth inning, the big blow coming when Eric Koenig launched a three-run home run.

Colter Henry finished the game with three hits, including a home run, and two RBI for the Panthers. Jake Taubenheim and Jordan Ridley also homered for Snohomish.

John Naff went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for Marysville-Pilchuck and Adam Sylvester went 4-for-4 with two RBI.
