Prep boys soccer: Lake Stevens 6, Stanwood 0

STANWOOD — After being shut out by Glacier Peak in its opener, Lake Stevens (1-1) took out its frustrations on Stanwood (1-1) in the Wesco North game. Jacob Baker recorded a hat trick with goals in the 27th minute (Josh Lund assist), 42nd minute (Nick Roe) and 64th minute (unassisted). Michael Berg got on the board quickly with an assist from Tanner Sellers in the fifth minute. Kyle Lawson made it 2-0 in the 14th minute and AJ Calcutta scored in the 52nd minute. Michael Pierce and DR Roberts combined for the clean sheet in goal.
