Prep baseball: Marysville-Pilchuck 12, Burlington 8

BURLINGTON — Marysville-Pilchuck’s (2-0 overall) seven-run second inning, highlighted by Ross Lyons’ three-run homer, was too much for Burlington. Riley McKinley was 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run, and Tyler Thompson added a solo home run in the sixth inning for M-P. Burlington’s Dylan Boe was 3-for-4 with two home runs. David Erickson and Dalton Schnetz each hit a solo home run for Burlington. Blake Stober (1-0) pitched three innings with three strikeouts.
