Thanks to foreclosures and short sales, the median sales price of single-family homes in Snohomish County dropped by more than 13 percent in February from the same period in 2010.

In a related development, the median night’s sleep for anyone who bought a home in 2007, just before the housing bubble burst, dropped to 4.7 hours in February, down from 6.2 hours during the same period last year.

Higher learning: A psychology professor at Northwestern University in Illinois caused a stir by allowing a couple to perform a live sex act in his classroom as part of a human sexuality class.
