STANWOOD — Marysville-Pilchuck’s Morgan Martinis, who scored a game-high 18 points, was 5-for-6 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter of the 4A District 1 loser-out playoff game. M-P’s Becca Lentz hit two 3-point baskets near the middle of the fourth quarter, forcing Stanwood to play catch up. As a team M-P made 10 of 19 free throws in the final period. M-P faces a rematch with Edmonds-Woodway in a loser-out third-place game at 6 p.m. Saturday at M-P. M-P edged E-W by a point in a first-round tournament contest.
