That’s bankin’

You know you’re a redneck when … Ah, never mind. Let’s just say that there really is an online bank, headquartered in Oklahoma, called Redneck Bank.

The Buzz has no joke here, but we do want to point out that this is likely the only bank in the nation whose website includes a page titled, “Yep, We’re a Real Bank!” (We’re not making that up.)

I’ll take Stack Overflow Errors for $200, Alex: A very special episode of “Jeopardy!” in mid-February will pit an IBM supercomputer called Watson versus the quiz show’s all-time top two champions.

On the stage, Watson will be represented by an IBM icon on a monitor, which will change to the Blue Screen of Death when Watson forgets to phrase an answer in question form.

Bragging rights: Stanwood Mayor Dianne Wright issued an upbeat state of the city report this week, saying the city’s finances are in good shape. “I don’t like to brag, but we’re not Lynnwood,” Wright said.

President Barack Obama might consider a similar line for his upcoming State of the Union speech: “I don’t like to brag, but we’re not Zimbabwe.”
