Five New Year’s babies were born in Snohomish County. They were a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. George Konkler of Everett, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Dale Browning of Everett, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Albertson of Everett, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Adrian VandenBosch of Marysville and a son to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lincoln of Granite Falls.

The Snohomish County Physicians Corp. and the Everett YMCA were sponsoring three free seminars on great ways to feel good about yourself. Loraine Jacobson would speak on stress at work and how to deal with it, Bob Fankhauser would speak on exercise and your workday and Dolores Hatchel would speak on good nutrition and your workday.
Robert and Rom Ransmussen of Mountlake Terrace were the proud parents of the first baby in 1986 born in a Snohomish County hospital. Their daughter was born at Everett General Hospital.
