Prep baseball: Snohomish 3, Mount Vernon 0

MOUNT VERNON — Snohomish mustered just one hit but the Panthers managed to escape with a win against Mount Vernon in order to stay undefeated and atop the Wesco 4A standings.

Mount Vernon committed three errors including two in the sixth inning that lead to three runs coming across the plate. Jake Mulholland’s single drove in two.

Ryan Sandifer struck out nine for Snohomish and Ryan Frederickson struck out five for Mount Vernon in the loss.
