Boys tennis

Faiz Khan, Shorecrest

Khan, a junior, went 4-0 last week against some tough competition. He beat Nathanael Thompson of Oak Harbor 6-0, 6-0 on Monday, Jake Peters of Mountlake Terrace 6-2, 6-0 on Tuesday, Gunnar Thorstenson of Shorewood 6-7 (6-8), 7-5, 6-2 on Wednesday, and Nick Berni of Edmonds-Woodway 6-0, 6-2 on Thursday.

Girls swimming and diving

Katelyn Leary, Marysville Pilchuck

Leary won the 200-yard freestyle and and 500 freestyle and was part of the Tomahawks’ winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams at Thursday’s meet with Everett and Marysville Getchell.

Volleyball

Amber Langlois, Shorewood

Langlois, a senior, posted seven kills, 18 digs and 14 assists in the Thunderbirds’ 3-0 win over Everett on Tuesday, then recorded nine kills, 16 assists and five digs Thursday to help Shorewood to a 3-0 victory over Mountlake Terrace.

Girls soccer

Lexi Klaudt, Archbishop Murphy

Klaudt, a junior, tallied two goals Monday in the Wildcats’ 3-1 win over King’s, then posted three goals and two assists to help Archbishop Murphy to a 6-2 win over Cedar Park Christian on Wednesday.

Football

Gabe Maggio, Everett

Maggio, a senior, passed for 96 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 124 yards and two scores in the Seagulls’ 38-14 win over Snohomish on Friday night.
