SHORELINE — Shorewood sophomore forward Alan Corrales scored the only goal of the match in the 38th minute and the Thunderbirds held off an aggressive Arlington attack with six saves by goalkeeper Isaac Whitaker. It was the sixth shutout in the past seven games for Shorewood, which is 5-1-1 in that span after starting the season 0-1-1.
