It’s the third straight week Hart has earned the honor. He’s also the reigning CHL Goaltender of the Week and was named the WHL Goaltender of the Month for November.

Hart’s statistics are indeed staggering. I crunched some numbers Saturday night after his 23rd career shutout and they don’t get any less impressive:
Flyers GM Ron Hextall told Carter Hart to be the best junior hockey player regardless of position.
Here are Hart's numbers:
Overall: 10-3-0-1, 1.46 GAA, .965, four SO
Since returning from mono: 9-2-0-1, .964, four SO
Last three weeks: 7-1-0, .971, three SO pic.twitter.com/b94rbqFxdy— Jesse Geleynse (@JesseGeleynse) December 3, 2017
The Silvertips have three games this week beginning with Portland on Wednesday. Hart then heads to St. Catharines, Ontario, where Team Canada begins training camp for World Juniors on Dec. 12.
Speaking of World Juniors, former Tips forward Eetu Tuulola is on the Team Finland camp roster. Tuulola is playing for HPK in the Finnish Liiga this season.
