Stanwood Youth Football Bantams seeking funds for nationals

The Stanwood Youth Football Bantams need your help.

Stanwood’s team of 12-year-olds qualified for the Pro Football Hall of Fame National Youth Championships, which take place on Dec. 14-17 in Canton, Ohio. The team earned that honor based on its performance at the Bay Area Regionals last weekend in Santa Rosa, California.

However, the team needs to raise more funds in order to pay the expenses for a second lengthy trip in the span of two weeks. Therefore, the team fundraising in an effort to participate at nationals.

The team members are Carlos Aguilara, Cody Anderson, Carson Beckt, Christopher Bishop, Jarrod Blouin Jr., Ryder Bumgarner, Caden Caldero, Wyatt Custer, Jaxon Eldridge, Mahkail Finco, Garrett Foxen, Aiden Gervasi, Yahir Gomez, Mason Goodson, Noah Grina, Nathan Guerra, Ethan Jakel, Carter Kinney, Jordin Lee, Michael Mascotti, Ryder McCall, Draydin McDonald, Hunter Mitchell, Alex Murphy, Jacob Myers, Nathan Pedersen, Cooper Santeford, Kale Sundberg, Dalton Thompson, Tanner Vanscoy and Otto Wiedmann.

The coaches are Reed Bumgarner (head coach), Greg Beckt, Curt Chester, Jim Custer, Kyle Eldridge, Leonard Kinney, Andy Pedersen and Curt Sundberg.
