LIST: 100-Season Club members and those near (update 3)

Being a member of the 100-Season Club as a high school coach is an impressive achievement. It shows tremendous longevity, considering it requires a minimum of 34 years, coaching three sports each year, to reach a century.
Here’s a list of local coaches who have achieved that mark, including seasons as a head coach or an assistant, as compiled by club member Steve Bertrand:

Michael Beauchamp passed along a name that he believes belongs in the 100-Season Club. He estimates that Stanwood’s Dennis Kloke has coached 125-plus seasons. Kloke, currently the head coach of the Stanwood girls basketball team, has coached at Marysville, Marysville Pilchuck and Anacortes in addition to Stanwood. His sports include, football, boys and girls basketball, track and golf.

Monroe High School track coach Brittany Kitts brought to my attention that her father Craig Bekins, the longtime head coach of the Cascade High School track team who is listed among the honorable mentions with an unknown number of seasons, is also a member of the 100-season club. Kitts’ calculations came up with 122 seasons for Bekins, whose high school coaching career also includes time with Lakeside, West Seattle, Inglemoor, Woodinville, Snohomish, Sultan and Monroe (where he is currently an assistant track coach) in addition to Cascade. The sports he’s coached are track, football, basketball and volleyball.
